Ingredients
Scale
Fruits and Juices
- 6 cups water
- 2 passion fruit
- 4 cups pineapple juice
- 4 cups guava nectar
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 cup apple juice
- 1 cup Kern’s mango nectar
- 1/4 cup Kern’s apricot nectar
Sweetener and Coloring
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon red food coloring (optional for classic red color)
Instructions
- Prepare Passion Fruit Juice: Cut the passion fruits in half and scoop the seeds and pulp into a blender. Add 2 cups of the water, blend well until smooth, then strain through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher or punch bowl to remove seeds and pulp for a smooth texture.
- Mix Remaining Ingredients: Add the remaining 4 cups of water along with pineapple juice, guava nectar, orange juice, apple juice, mango nectar, apricot nectar, granulated sugar, and red food coloring to the pitcher. Whisk thoroughly until the sugar and coloring are completely dissolved and the mixture is smooth and uniform.
- Chill and Serve: Refrigerate the Hawaiian Punch until well chilled, ideally for at least 1 hour. Serve cold over ice for a refreshing beverage.
Notes
- You can substitute papaya nectar for mango nectar for a more authentic flavor, as papaya was one of the original fruits in Hawaiian Punch Fruit Juicy Red.
- The red food coloring is optional and primarily used to achieve the classic bright red color associated with the drink.
- Adjust sweetness by reducing or increasing sugar to taste.
- This recipe yields approximately 1 gallon, perfect for parties or large gatherings.
